Mr. Soto Mares has been our tequila expert and most ardent supporter since concept and I can personally say that it's purely passion (and an incredible palate) that drives him. I'm proud that he's our friend! El Perdido Tequila has been a long time in coming. We're thrilled that it's finally arrived, and that it won Best of Show.

I overheard the judges commenting on the quality of the blancos. In all of the years we have been hosting the Spirits of Mexico, I always gravitated toward the reposados, añejos and extra añejos at the main event. This year I toured the blancos, and I can say without doubt that I'll actually be sipping them. Incredible, as there are precious few white spirits that I would sip neat and at room temperature.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
